Rose-Marie's Raw Energy Bars
1 cup Pumpkin seeds
1 cup Sunflower seeds
1 cup Chia seeds
1 cup Pecan nuts
1 cup Raw oats
1 tbs Maca powder (optional)
10 pited dates
Small handful of raisins
6 tbs Coconut oil (melted)
2 tbs Honey or Coconut nectar
1. Put then nuts, seeds and oats in a blender and blitz briefly. Set aside in a mixing bowl.
2. Put the dates, raisins, coconut oil and honey/coconut nectar in the blender and mix untl smooth.
If necessary add a little water.
3. Combine all the ingredients and mix well.
4. Put into a lined baking tray or other container and put in the freezer for an hour.
5. Cut into squares and store in an airtight container in the fridge.
Chia Seed Smoothie
3 table spoons chia seeds
A handful of blueberries
A little vanilla powder
Mix these ingrediens and set aside for at least an hour.
Blend these ingrediens in a blender
Pour into a glass and decorate with blueberries and macadamias.
Sweet Greens are Made of This
2 medium sized pears
2-3 handfuls of spinach leaves
Blend and pour into a large glass or bowl
Sprinkle a few cashews/pecans/walnuts or other nuts
of your choice and some pumpkin seeds on top.
Incredi-Salad with Avocado, Courgette, Figs & Olives
1 head of Batavia salad
12 Cherry tomatoes
1 large courgette
8 Kalamata olives
Pinch of sea salt
Arrange the lettuce leaves in a circle on a large serving plat or bowl.
Use a Spiruliser and cut the courgette into spirals
Place the courgette on the lettuce
Chop the pepper.
Dice the figs
Mix the ingredients
Sprinkle some sea salt over the salad.
Carrot, Coconut and Raisin Salad
6 Grated carrots
2 small handfuls of organic Raisins
Shredded coconut (grind in your coffee mill for a finer texture)
Mix and serve.
Avocado & Tomato Dressing
1/2 red pepper
1 clove garlic
1 sun dried tomato
2 tablespoons pumpkin seeds
1/2 tsp ground cumin
Put all the ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth. Fantastic on your salad!
Raw Chocolate Mousse
1 large Avocado
5 table spoons Coconut Milk
2 table spoons Raw Cacao Powder
1 table spoon Raw Vanilla Powder
1 table spoons Agave Nectar
Put all the ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth.
Add Pecan Nuts and Pomegranate Seeds.
Sprinkle with some Ground Coconut
